Riding Lights Theatre Company put on a show stopping performance of ‘A Christmas Cracker’ at Bulwell United Reformed Church on 28th November.

The eagerly awaited play was heavily attended and included members of the community of all ages who were eager to get into the Christmas spirit!

The production was focused on the world famous storyteller Ebeneezer Sneezer and his dog Cracker who are both lost and are stranded in a blizzard. After being caught taking shelter in Mrs McGinty’s barn Ebeneezer must warm up her frozen heart with his seasonal stories to save himself from being thrown back out into the storm!

The play was full of comedy, puppetry and seasonal storytelling and was well received by everyone who attended.

Bulwell United Reformed Church was very pleased with the reception of ‘A Christmas Cracker’ and with the performance of Riding Lights Theatre Company.

‘The church was thrilled to have a successful theatre company like Ridings Lights to perform for us. They were brilliant and everyone from the children to the older adults got into the Christmas spirit and really enjoyed it!’
