Carl Walker

One of our talented childcare apprentices has won the Nursery Apprentice of the Year at the Nursery Management Today Awards 2015 which was held at London’s Hilton Metropole Hotel.

The award ceremony – hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills – put on a three course meal and champagne before the winners of the awards were announced.

Carl was shocked to hear his name called out, but was ecstatic to win the award he had worked so hard to achieve with the support of our Vocational Coach, Latoya.

“It was brilliant, I never expected to win… When Scott Mills called my name out I was like ‘what!?’ Latoya has really helped me big time and has shown a lot of support, she’s been fantastic!”

Cherubs Day Nursery are also very proud of Carl’s achievements.

‘We’re incredibly proud of Carl and are so proud to have him in the Childcare East Midlands family. Enjoy your night Carl and have a lovely weekend in London, you deserve it!’

Carl Walker is an apprentice at Cherub’s Day Nursery in Mansfield Woodhouse after wanting to further his career by taking a Right Track apprenticeship in Childcare.

Since being placed at Cherubs and working alongside our Vocational Coach, Latoya Centritto, Carl has excelled in his apprenticeship both in the workplace and through his coursework.

Everyone at Right Track congratulates Carl on his outstanding achievement and will continue give him the guidance to ensure he fulfils his huge potential! Congratulations Carl!
